Acolytes
Cathedral youth from 5th-8th grade are invited to serve in our worship services as torch-bearers and crucifers. Serving as an acolyte is an essential part of our worship, and this program allows our students to contribute to the worship of God in the beauty of holiness. No prior knowledge of the liturgy is required at all. We train all of our acolytes so that their contribution to worship is spiritually nourishing and not intimidating!
Acolyte Fellowship
Once a month, our student acolytes get together for fellowship, discussion and prayer. Events vary each month and are set to include hosted meals, picnics, swimming, bowling, movies, etc. These get-togethers serve to strengthen our student community spiritually and relationally.
