Ukrainian Egg Class

Ages 6 & Up with Adult

The art of Ukrainian egg decorating, also known as pysanky, is a process of writing on an egg with beeswax and dying the egg from lightest to darkest colors. You will take home at least one completed egg.

We work with raw eggs, wax, permanent dyes, and an open flame. Please wear appropriate clothing and pull back any long hair. Class size is limited to twenty. Children age six and above are welcome when accompanied by an adult. For more information or to RSVP, please email Jeanne Webber.


Lenten Day of Reflection, “I Am”

The Stanton Center is sponsoring a Lenten Day of Reflection for anyone interested in a day of quiet and prayer. This  program, entitled “I Am,” will feature several short talks on “I Am” passages throughout the Bible. Participants will gather for coffee in the Garrett Parlor at 9:30am. During the Wednesday Lenten Program, our children through fifth grade will explore five stories related to the passion of Christ. We will work with these stories in an imaginative way, not only using Legos, but also questions to wonder about the story, prayer and a story-related snack.


First informed communion
Parent-Child Workshop
Saturday, March 3rd, 9am-1pm

In order to prepare children for their First Informed Communion (as well as for all parents and kids who want to deeper their understanding of the Sacrament) we will gather on Saturday, March 3, from 9 am to 1 pm for a parent-child workshop focused on the Eucharist.
