  The Episcopal Church is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, an international association of national Anglican churches. We are part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Jesus our Lord.  The Episcopal Church is a biblical church, but not rigid or fundamentalist. The Episcopal Church is a catholic church in liturgy and sacraments, but not a heirarchical Church. The Episcopal Church is part of a worldwide Anglican Community that is loving, open, and welcomes all people.
