St. Matthew's has spiritual formation classes for all ages from 9:45-10:30am.  In parenting today we have to be intentional about how our children are taught to love and share in a Christian way.  Here at St. Matthews we are dedicated to helping you and your children know and experience faith in Jesus Christ.

Caterpillar Class for ages 0-2year olds is held in the nursery room located on the first floor. This is for parents and grandparents and their caterpillar. The children play instruments, sing songs, and hear a Bible story, focusing on enabling you to live the Gospel.  We create a safe interactive experience for your child and you. The teacher is Cindy.

Butterfly Class for ages 2-3year olds is held on the second floor of Garrett Hall. Sharon is the teacher, assisted by Liz and Hannah.  This class gives children the opportunity to interact with Scripture, using various creative mediums.  We sing, tell Biblical stories and include art to explain the Good News of Christ.

St Mary's - Godly Play for ages 4-6year olds is held on the second floor of Garrett Hall.  The Godly Play curriculum is great for this age when questions are so natural.  We use mediums like art, sandboxes, and story time to help the children learn the stories. The children are encouraged to reflect and wonder how God is a part of the story and their own lives. Merrill is the teacher.

St Matthew's Class for 7 year olds to 2nd and 3rd Grade, is held on the second floor of Garrett Hall.  This class takes the children into a deeper level of their spiritual development by giving more details of the stories and more opportunities for reflection.  We use lectionary based curriculum. This class is taught by Johan.

St Macrina for grades 4-6 is held on the second floor of Garrett Hall.  The students in this class are given a new Bible and use a curriculum that helps them get to know it. We talk about the Old Testament and the New Testament and how the Bible guides our lives. Alaine and Louis co-teach this class.

We also have family events where all are invited to come and enjoy fellowship.  Some of our events in the past include swim parties, cookouts, end of school celebrations, and rally day. We hope you will bring your family for fun and fellowship!!  Click here to view pictures...
